Brian McDonnell is the bass player and one of the vocalists
for the Bombsquad. Brian has been performing for 15 years
for many Southern Ontario bands.
Brian is a sought after session player for other acts and released
his first record, About Face, with his band Dirty Weapons early in his
career. He still makes rare appearances with his band Beggar’s Opera
when the Bombsquad has a weekend free.
Learning what it takes to promote and play his own music,
Brian developed his professional attitude and talent from there.
Providing a solid performance every time he takes the stage,
audiences are captivated by his presence as he lays down his bass lines.
Brian has been performing with Mark Chichkan and Tony Calabrese
for many years as a member of The United Snakes, and now as the
bass player for the Bombsquad. Having played with Chichkan and
Calabrese before, these three musicians have a prior bond that makes
Brian a sure fit for the band.
